Monuments of Portland, explores Portland’s rich palette of natural and synthetic materials, its landscape of varied terrains and layers of history. Delicate miniature sculptures constructed from fragments of material from all over Portland represent the strangeness of the place and an alternative view of the island.
Tim creates an abstract model village to be explored in detail – visitors will experience it as both an alien landscape and a strangely familiar one.
