Portrait are the youth contemporary dance group for Dorset managed by Activate. Working with their choreographer Carly Reader they developed a brand new site-specific piece for Debenhams store inspired by a workshop led by Sarah Shorten from dance company Stacked Wonky.
The encounter was performed live during a busy shopping day in Debenhams store in Weymouth Town Centre, dancers performed in lifts, on escalators, amid clothing rails and in various departments in the store.
