Brian is constructing a sculpture, which aligns with the clear, distant horizon. It’s reminiscent of a clothesline: a transient place to hang temporary (sometimes dirty) washing and refers to Brexit, together with the positive and negatives of migration.

Brian says the piece features “Distress, longing, belonging and remorse and asks questions like: What are we doing? And why are we doing it? “
