A sign saying Restore Round Island Way

Take a Walk with Portland Pathway Protectors

Thurs 09 and Sat 11 Sept at 11am

See booking page for all info

Join the Portland Pathway Protectors for walks on paths around some of Portland's hidden gems, historic places, and natural wonders.

Portland is crisscrossed and encircled by ancient rights of way. The island is home to the South West Coast Path and Legacy trail, the English Coastal Path, and Hardy's way. Portland Pathway Protectors are a local network of walkers and wheelers  (mobility scooters and pushchairs) who are committed to keeping Portland Rights of Way open and accessible. They cut back overgrown paths, litter pick, record and report lost paths and signs, and work to register paths used for generations and to restore the Round Island Way for future generations.
