b-side is offering 3 research and development bursaries of £500 each to South West based artists. The bursaries are aimed at early career artists or those wishing to shift or redefine their practice.
The bursary offer includes:
- 3 days of individual research and development on Portland with support from the b-side team of curators (October 8th – 10th)
- Free place at the Resonant Terrains symposium Oct 10 – 12th 2013 at HMP The Verne Prison.
- Curatorial support for on-going research available for a maximum of 6 months.
We are looking for artists working in the visual arts, live art, sound, digital or text based work who would welcome a dedicated opportunity to research and develop an idea, expand their practise and work in response to site.
