Cut and Paste

Weymouth

Part of a year long b-side Encounters programme of creative opportunities for young people.

Young people from Littlemoor in Weymouth, worked with artist Peter Snelling looking at ways of creating site-specific temporary encounters in their town. Inspired by Banksy and using photography, digital techniques and wallpaper paste they created some incredibly provocative images that started to ask questions about the economic prospects of young people today including a life size human pyramid attempting to reach a ten pound note, to a million pounds being thrown in the air and vanishing into the gutter.

The images were pasted up temporarily on the side of TK Maxx store in Weymouth town centre.
