WHY? Festival 2018

Portland

WHY? What's Happening for the Young? is a festival that celebrates youth rights and youth voice.

The WHY? festival took place over one weekend during b-side 2018 festival.  Produced and programmed by our current cohort of [intransit] Producers - a group of five under 25s who were particularly interested in social activism, young people's rights and developing their skills in producing.

WHY? What's Happening for the Young? is a festival that celebrates youth rights and youth voice. The festival is inspired by the UN Conventions on The Rights of The Child and the workshops, performances and discussions the [intransit] Producers have programmed are all based on Articles of interest to the local Portland youth community.
